Are Abusive Relationships Still Controlling You?

3 of A 4-Part Hope-Centered Blog Series from Stronger Women®

Blog 3: Pouring a New Path – Breaking False Dependency

Theme: Embracing Your Unique Talents and Gifts
Musical Anchor: Rise from Danny Gokey’s Rise album
Scripture: Romans 12:6 — “We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us.”
Practical Tip: Conduct a strengths inventory and set small goals to develop your talents.

Dependency is a trap—financial, emotional, spiritual—that keeps survivors tied to toxic cycles.

But God has given you unique talents meant to empower you to rebuild. The Stronger than Espresso® curriculum encourages identifying your gifts and using them as building blocks to independence.

“We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us.” – Romans 12:6

Practical Tip:
Make a list of three talents or gifts you have. Next to each, write one small goal to grow it, like joining a class or practicing a skill.

Musical Inspiration:
“Rise” — a call to discover your strength and purpose, and pour a new path.

Remember:
Be seen. Be heard. Be understood. There is hope.
This is your rise, your path, your power.
