Dear Friends,

Today was a big day!

I found a throwback picture from our original Stronger than Espresso office—the one with “HOPE” written across the door. That photo reminded me that since 2013, we’ve been standing in the gap, seeking hope and offering it to women who needed light in the middle of darkness. That picture jolted my spirit, reminding me: we’ve been living this mission for more than a decade.

And on top of that, today I passed a State licensing exam! This wasn’t just any test—it was the step to re-enter the insurance industry. Twenty-five years ago, I began a career I loved, one that gave me stability, purpose, and joy. But an abusive partner stole that from me. He isolated me, tore me away from the work I enjoyed, and left me carrying the loss of a dream I never thought I’d hold again.

Today, by God’s grace, I stepped back into that space. This exam marks more than a professional achievement—it is the restoration of something stolen, a reclaiming of my story, and the start of a new day.

This moment feels like a double portion blessing. A throwback to where Stronger began and a push forward into a season of both remembrance and restoration.

✨ Daily HOPE Verse – Zechariah 9:12 (NIV)

“Return to your fortress, you prisoners of hope; even now I announce that I will restore twice as much to you.”

God doesn’t just restore—He restores double. He brings back joy, stability, and purpose in ways that surpass what was lost.

🎵 Song of the Day

“The Truth” – Megan Woods

This song reminds us that God’s truth about our worth is louder than the lies of shame, fear, or failure.

💡 Hope Goals

  • Goal: Clarify one boundary that protects your peace.

  • Pathways: Practice self-love as a daily act, not a luxury.

  • My Next Step: Celebrate progress and remember that boundaries are protection, not punishment.

🪞 Reflection

Boundaries are not walls—they are bridges. They connect us to healthier versions of ourselves and to others in ways that are safe and respectful.

Passing my exam and remembering the foundation of Stronger both remind me: God restores, multiplies, and blesses. What was lost for decades can be restored. What was taken can be returned. What was broken can be rebuilt.

What about you? What area of your life do you need a DOUBLE portion blessing in right now? Claim it boldly. Speak it aloud. Write it in your journal. Ask God to not only restore what was lost—but to give you back twice as much hope, strength, and joy.
