📖 Daily HOPE NIV Verse
Romans 12:12 — “Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.”
💭 Journal Prompt
Which of these three actions is hardest for me right now—and why?
(Being joyful in hope, patient in affliction, or faithful in prayer?)
Dear Friends,
Bravery is not the absence of fear but the willingness to face fear with faith. Fear tells us we are weak, unworthy, or defeated. Bravery, fueled by God’s Spirit, whispers: “You are enough. Keep walking.”
Some of us wrestle hardest with patience in affliction. Waiting for change, healing, or restoration feels unbearable. But when we stay faithful in prayer—even when life feels heavy—we discover new strength rising inside us.
The truth is, shame may try to define us, but God’s grace is always greater. As Micah Tyler sings in I See Grace, “Cause I’ve seen Grace. When I left the ninety-nine you saw one, and just like that my past has been erased. All I see is God’s grace.”
-
Joshua 1:9 — “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
-
Psalm 27:1 — “The Lord is my light and my salvation—whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life—of whom shall I be afraid?”
God calls us to bravery—not because life is free of fear, but because His presence transforms our fear into faith. Every step of courage, no matter how small, rewrites your story.
Devotional Thought
Healing takes bravery. It means stepping into the unknown, confronting fears, and refusing to be defined by past pain. Bravery is a daily choice—sometimes small, sometimes bold. Each act of courage is a testimony of resilience and hope.

Prayer for Bravery
“Lord, when fear rises, remind me of Your presence.
When shame speaks, let me hear only Your grace.
When my steps feel small, make them courageous in Your eyes.
Be my light, my salvation, and my strength.
I am enough because You are with me. Amen.”
