💜 Daily Hope Verse
Psalm 119:114 (NIV)
“You are my refuge and my shield; I have put my hope in your word.”
Scripture: Joel 2:25
“I will repay you for the years the locusts have eaten.”
Quote: “God never wastes a hurt.” — Dr. Brooke Jones
☕ Dear Friends,
Today’s song, “I Am Yours” by Lauren Daigle, begins with a question that sits deep in every survivor’s heart:
“Am I Yours?”
It’s the question that surfaces when we’ve been broken by betrayal, silenced by fear, or made to feel unworthy of belonging.
We ache for protection — to be covered, safe, seen, and loved.
But before we can fully accept God’s promises, we often wrestle with that question.
Am I Yours?
The answer, whispered through every lyric of Lauren’s song and every verse of God’s Word, is yes.
Even when we doubt it.
Even when we’re still fractured.
Even when we feel the weight of all the years that hurt consumed — He claims us.
💬 Devotional Reflection
Your lessons have power.
Every heartbreak, every trial, every scar has shaped you — but none of it defines your destiny.
God takes every wound and weaves it into a testimony.
“You are my refuge and my shield.” — Psalm 119:114
Lauren sings, “I see Your fingerprints, the work of Your hands… leaving nothing to chance.”
That line holds me — because it means that nothing in my story was wasted.
Not even the pain.
God’s restoration promise in Joel 2:25 reminds us that He will repay the years the locusts have eaten.
That means the years fear stole. The relationships shame shattered. The dreams abuse delayed.
Hope doesn’t just heal — it restores.
🎶 Your Rhythm for Today
“Lord, I am struggling with mixed emotions. I am almost done. Hope should be right here.”
Sometimes, the closer we get to healing, the more fragile we feel.
That’s not weakness — that’s awakening.
Healing reveals the cracks that survival once hid.
Even as you wrestle with belonging, remember this:
You are already claimed. You are already safe beneath His covering.
He has not forgotten you — and He never will.
💪 I CAN Lessons
-
I can be strong daily, no matter what.
-
I can be loving to those around me.
-
I can be protected from abusive relationships.
-
I can overcome things that used to destroy me.
-
I can stop suicidal ideation through faith, purpose, and hope.
These declarations are your armor.
Say them aloud — each one builds muscle memory for your spirit.
💭 Self-Reflection
“I am still fractured emotionally from truth.”
“I am so fragile. I need validation — so much of it.”
Naming the fracture isn’t failure — it’s faith.
Healing begins when we stop hiding from our humanity.
God doesn’t rush your process; He redeems it.
“I am Yours,” the song declares.
And even in the storm, He whispers back — “You are Mine.”
